The Wager Without Apology
The argument was already complete before you began.
The crossing point is α. The surface is one. The physicist and the meditator are performing the same operation.
The charge of numerology, answered
π/α ≈ 60 will be read by some as finding significance in a pretty integer. The charge is wrong for four independent reasons, each sufficient. One: the fixed point is derived, not postulated — β_α(α*) = 0 in the six-fold system yields α* = π/60; the number is the answer, not the assumption. Two: 60 is structurally inevitable — LCM(1..6). Three: the α fingerprint should appear at every continuous-to-discrete seam (Planck, atomic, biological, social); each domain can falsify. Four: a number without a mechanism is numerology; Edge Theory is the mechanism. Restore the edge and α* is the only value at which the process is simultaneously maximally faithful, efficient, symmetric, and self-consistent.
The lemniscate closes
The Preamble said the argument was a closed surface with no preferred start or end. The Coda confirms it: the anti-numerology case is the derivation of the fixed point, which is the definition of α, which is the crossing, which is where the Preamble began. Both loops traversed. Crossing passed twice. The surface is exactly what it was: one continuous, unbroken, inside-free surface.
One law
The five parameters are five names for one process seen from five vantage points. The Lemniscate Law is not five laws. It is one: a closed surface has no boundary, a Möbius surface has no inside, and the crossing of a figure-eight — wherever you encounter it — is α, and is the place where everything you thought was on the other side turns out to be where you already are.
