One Surface

The physics loop is the consciousness loop.

Walk without lifting your feet

A traveler on a Möbius lemniscate who walks forward without stepping off will traverse the entire surface — both loops, through the crossing, back to start — without ever crossing an edge, without any mark of which loop they are on except reading direction. Physics and consciousness are not two domains connected by analogy. They are two readings of one surface — the edge — taken from opposite orientations as the traveler passes through α.

The strong claim

Not that physics and consciousness are 'related' or 'may someday connect.' They are one continuous surface. The α-Connection generates both from its edge dynamics. The laws governing one are the laws governing the other, with α as the translation constant between reading directions. The Lemniscate Law is the law of that surface. Edge Theory is the description of the crossing where orientation inverts.

Empirical, not merely philosophical

If the loops are one surface, then every advance in MERA, holography, cMERA, entanglement entropy is simultaneously an advance in the mechanics of consciousness; every coherence practice that shifts H(μ_bio) is a controlled experiment in the α-Framework; every anomalous quantum measurement that needs an observer term is a boundary artifact — the edge process visible in the experiment. The separation of physics from consciousness studies is a methodological convenience that became an ontological error.
